Terms & Conditions – Pet Hub (Surrey, BC)

Welcome to Pet Hub, located in Surrey, British Columbia. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all in-store purchases, online browsing, online order placements, and interactions with our services. By accessing or using Pet Hub in any way, you agree to these Terms.

We may update or modify these Terms without prior notice, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the latest version.

1. Business Information

Pet Hub is a local pet supplies store offering food, toys, treats, accessories, and related products. As of now, we do NOT offer any shipping across Canada or internationally. All purchases must be completed in-store or through online ordering for pickup only.

2. Eligibility & Responsibility

By purchasing from Pet Hub, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Are providing accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Understand how to use and handle purchased products responsibly

Pet Hub holds no liability for improper use, misuse, or failure to follow product instructions.

3. Pricing, Availability & Product Information

  • All prices are shown in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
  • Prices, promotions, and availability may change at any time without notice.
  • Product details and images may differ slightly from the actual product.
  • Pet Hub reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel any order in which errors occur.

4. No Shipping Policy

Pet Hub does NOT ship products within Canada or outside of Canada at this time.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Picking up online orders
  • Ensuring product suitability before purchasing
  • Understanding that we currently operate as local pickup only

Pet Hub is not responsible for delays, misunderstandings, or any issues caused by our no-shipping policy.

5. Online Shopping (Pickup Only)

We offer online shopping with the following conditions:

  • All online orders must be paid for online at the time of purchase
  • Orders will be prepared and ready for pickup at our Surrey location
  • Customers must present the order confirmation upon pickup
  • Orders not picked up within the specified timeframe may be cancelled
  • No delivery, shipping, or third-party courier arrangements are offered by Pet Hub

We are not liable for any loss or delay resulting from customers failing to pick up orders.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We strive to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining product safety and quality. Original receipt is REQUIRED for all returns, exchanges, or refunds. No exceptions.

Return Window

  • Items can be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Items must be in resellable condition.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or used pet food
  • Treats or perishables
  • Used grooming tools
  • Clearance or final-sale items

Options for Approved Returns

If your return meets all requirements:

A. Store Credit (Never Expires)

  • You may choose to receive store credit for the full value of the returned product.
  • Store credit will remain permanently on your customer account.
  • It can be used at any time for future purchases, online or in-store.

B. Refund

  • If preferred, refunds can be issued in the original payment method.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

Pet Hub reserves the right to decline any return that does not meet our policy criteria.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Reading product labels and usage instructions
  • Ensuring item suitability for their pet's breed, size, diet, or health
  • Monitoring pets for allergies or reactions when trying new products
  • Safely storing products after purchase

Pet Hub is not liable for:

  • Injuries, reactions, or illness caused by products
  • Veterinary or medical expenses
  • Product damage caused by pets, misuse, or improper storage

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet Hub will not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Veterinary costs
  • Product performance issues
  • Delays, stock shortages, or discontinued products

All products are sold "as-is" based on manufacturer specifications.

9. Warranties

Pet Hub does not offer warranties beyond the manufacturer's warranty (if applicable). Warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
